Farmington and its surrounding area are teeming with recreational opportunities, making it easy to fill a day with both active and passive activities. The Farmington Parks and Recreation Department oversees the area’s park system. Fifteen parks, two aquatic facilities, one community center and a Bike Hostel line the streets of the community.
Accident reports can be picked up in person or by fax request 573-756-0622. It is important to note, that in general, accident reports will be ready for release 5-7 days AFTER the report is taken. Inquiries and requests need to include, if possible:

Accident reports are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (CST)
Other police reports can be released in accordance with the Sunshine Law. In general, these reports will not be available for release until at least 5 to 7 days after the report is taken. Some reports may take longer, depending on the facts and circumstances. Persons needing copies of police reports should contact the records clerk Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM regarding release of police reports.
Other police agencies requesting copies of reports should contact the records clerk. We require all requests from other agencies to be made in writing on departmental letterhead.
If you have received a traffic ticket, it is important to note that WE CANNOT ACCEPT PAYMENT at the police station.
