The library has more to offer than just books. Check out some of the other items we loan that you can access with your library card.
Seed Library
Our Seed Library is now open for business! Come in and browse our selection of vegetable and flower seeds, anyone can "borrow" or donate. It is free to the community, no library card necessary.
Fishing Rods
The Missouri Department of Conservation has provided the library with fishing rods and tackle boxes to loan to the public as part of their Discover Nature: Fishing Rod and Reel Loaner Program. Ask us at the front desk how you can borrow these with your library card.
Glue Guns
The library currently offers a lot of take-and-make programs that sometimes require a glue gun. These can be checked out at the front desk for quick projects. Ask at the front desk using your library card in order to check out.
Board Games
The Farmington Public Library has received a generous donation of board games from Aesop's Treasury! These games are now available for check out and are on display by the computer lab. Games can be viewed or reserved from our catalog. There is a limit of 2 games out at a time, per household. Please contact the library if you have questions about these items.

Farmington is a city in St. Francois County located about 75 miles southwest of St. Louis in the Lead Belt region in Missouri. As of the 2010 census, the population was 16,240. It is the county seat of St. Francois County.
