Sealed bids for the construction of the PROGRESS DRIVE ELEVATED TANK REHABILITATION will be received by Taylor Engineering, 109 East Columbia Street, Farmington, MO 63640, 573-756-9226, until Thursday, February 21, 2019 @ 2:00 p.m. and at that time the sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held at Taylor Engineering, 109 East Columbia Street, Farmington, MO 63640 on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 @ 10:00 a.m.
The project shall be defined as providing supplies, machinery, equipment, tools, superintendence, labor, insurance and other accessories and services necessary to sandblast, make necessary repairs and install the new coating system in accordance with the conditions and Specifications as directed by the City. Minor work will also be required on additional water storage tanks.

Copies of the plans, specifications and contract documents may be obtained from the office of the Engineer listed above, upon payment of Seventy Five Dollars ($75.00), which is nonrefundable. Checks shall be made payable to Taylor Engineering, LLC.
Complete digital project bidding documents are available for a non-refundable fee of Forty Five dollars ($45.00) by going to Taylor Engineering’s website, www.taylorengineeringllc.com and clicking on Current Projects and Bid Docs.
The Owner hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
The City (owner) reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any irregularities in the Bids. If a contract award is made, it will be made to the lowest, best, responsive, responsible bidder, based on the sole determination of the owner. The contract will be awarded based either on the Base Bid or on the Base Bid with Owner selected alternates. This is a prevailing wage project. State wage rates will be used for this project.
