The Farmington Public Library offers are large variety of programs. We are now offering around 20 programs a month, all of which are free to the public. Some programs require a sign up in order to attend. Please sign up at the library or call us @ 573-756-5779.

Designed to inspire creativity, Kids’ Crafternoon allows young children to stretch their imaginations as they build and create neat crafts. We’re making puppy puppets in February!

Join us for a night of trivia at the library! There will be 10 categories of general trivia. Teams can have 4-6 people, and participants are encouraged to bring their own snacks and drinks. Space is limited, so please sign up at the library.

Join us on the fourth Tuesday of the month for Needle Works! Needle Works is for anyone interested in needle work art. All skill levels are welcome to attend.

Every Saturday @ 11:30 a.m.

Story time is every Wednesday and Saturday at the library. Story time provides an educational and entertaining experience for kids every week. Kids not only hear a story, but also participate in a neat craft! No sign up is required in order to attend this event.

Learning Resource Class

Every Saturday 1:00 – 6:00 p.m.

The Farmington Public Library has weekly computer resource classes every Saturday and Sunday. Anyone over the age of 15 that has a valid library card is welcome to come to the library computer lab at the designated time.

We will be using LearningLibraryExpress to improve computer skills for work and school related activities. This is not a beginners computer class. Please sign up at the library in order to attend. Email vmoore@farmington-mo.gov for more information.

One-on-one Technology Lessons

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays

10:30 a.m.

Sign up for one-on-one technology lessons at the library either in person or  by phone. A qualified member of the staff gives instruction on any topic you wish. Other time slots may be available by appointment.
