The City of Farmington is accepting applications for a Program Coordinator at the Civic Center. Typical duties include, but are not limited to: planning, implementation and evaluation of activities, fitness programs, race events, swim lessons, water park events, sports leagues and camps; policy administration; recruiting, coordinating and supervising staff and volunteers. A Bachelor Degree in Parks and Recreation, Leisure Studies, Education, Sports Management or related field from an accredited college or university is preferred. A minimum of one (1) year of equivalent full-time work experience related to parks and recreation is required as well as a valid Missouri Class E Driver’s License. The following certifications are required within 6 months of employment: CPR certification, Certified Lifeguard Instructor Certification and Certified Pool Operator Certification. Starting pay is $15.43 per hour with an excellent benefit package.
