Driving Directions

The playground features 3 slides, several climbing and crawling areas as well as a mulch floor. The play area is flanked by benches for parents and resting. Several picnic areas and barbecue pits are very near the playground, encouraging family gatherings.

This nature park is dedicated in memory of Dean Danieley, past president of the Farmington Optimist Club and true friend to youth. His leadership, sincerity and devotion to human causes will always be remembered by many and respected by all.

This small 10 acre park is heavily wooded and nestled in one of Farmington’s most regal neighborhoods. The park features several picnic areas, barbecue pits, restrooms, water, a wet weather stream and a heavily wooded lot. The playground is right beside the parking area. The park is popular, but maintains low traffic due to its secluded location.

Throughout the park feeders and housing for various kinds of birds can be seen. Neighboring lots are well kept and beautifully gardened. In the center of the circle drive of the park entrance is a sandstone monument with a dedication plaque. It is surrounded by pines. The main pavilion features electricity, water and seats approximately 85 people.
