  • Fall Computer Classes

  • We're kicking off fall computer classes on September 20th at 5:30pm with our beginning computer class. This class covers very basic computer skills for individuals with little or no computer experience. We're offering another session on September 27th at 5:30pm, so come in and sign up for whichever one is more convenient. More classes are in the works for October, so check back later for an updated schedule. If you have any questions about these or future classes, please call or come by the library.

  • Summer Reading Program Bike Giveaway Winner

  • Kent Galczynski, Age 5, was the winner of the drawing for the Mongoose Mountain Bike, donated to the Farmington Public Library for participants in the Summer Reading Program. Prizes, books, book bags, and certificates are available through September 15, for all those who logged minutes in the program. Just bring in the completed log and to collect the prizes.

  • New Online Resources at the Library

  • The library has some great new online resources available for library patrons. These include over 1200 local, national, and world newspapers, over 84 million articles from hundreds of magazines and peer-reviewed journals, medical information for professionals and non-professionals alike, business information databases covering company information and finances, resources for starting and maintaining a small business, including business plans, and much, much more. Currently, these databases are accessible only by coming to the library.
